The Bandits were established in the fall of 2012 with just one 14U baseball team. Since then we have had healthy and steady growth with a focus on developing players. In 2018 we added softball and we're happy to see a similar growth model. We now have teams in multiple states and are excited to share our philosophy with an expanding Bandit family. In fact, we have maintained a family like atmosphere where it means something to "Be A Bandit". Matt Shadow is the Owner and Founder of Bandits Baseball & Softball and National Director of Bandits Baseball. Since 2008 Matt has been helping players with their baseball careers. As of today, Matt has been involved with over 300 players moving on to college and/or professional baseball. More importantly, Matt has been involved with guiding and teaching over 1000 young adults about hard work, respect, and success in life.

Stephen Downey

Stephen Downey is co-founder and the Director of Sports Performance for InnerPro Sports. Stephen has been a professional strength and conditioning coach since 2006. Formerly head of strength and conditioning for the Los Angeles Dodgers. During that time, he has worked with youth aged athletes to the most elite Major League Baseball players. Stephen is focused on delivering the absolute best training strategies to all athletes regarding their level of experience.

"Why should amateur athletes in youth, high-school and collegiate programs have to wait until they "make it" to have access to the higher levels of hyper-focused training programs that the pros get? My goal is to deliver all I’ve learned and what I’m continuing to learn to anyone who will put the work in."
